Basic Qualifications
‑ Hold a master’s degree or higher in medicine, nursing, public health, medical humanities or related healthcare discipline, or equivalent clinical/academic qualification.
‑ Hold an academic or clinical appointment such as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Clinician, Nurse Researcher, or equivalent position in recognized universities, hospitals or research institutes worldwide.
‑ Have published peer-reviewed academic papers within clinical medicine, nursing, public health or related interdisciplinary healthcare fields.
‑ Familiar with double-blind peer review workflows, international publication ethics and clinical research ethical requirements.
‑ Able to allocate reasonable time to complete manuscript reviews within the assigned time frame and deliver constructive, objective review comments.
Reviewer Responsibilities
‑ Evaluate assigned manuscripts independently under double-blind peer review rules, assess originality, research design, ethical compliance, academic merit and clinical significance.
‑ Provide detailed, impartial, constructive review comments to authors and editorial office.
‑ Recommend decisions: accept, revise (minor/major), or reject manuscripts based on academic and ethical standards.
‑ Maintain strict confidentiality for all unreleased manuscript content.
‑ Give professional advice on manuscript improvement, research defects and ethical risks related to clinical and nursing studies.
